Worst service I have had in a long time. Called in an order and the person that took my order didn't seem to know what was going on. And as I expected my order was all wrong. Ordered wings and got chicken strips. It didn't even taste like chicken!!

I'm not really a huge wings fan but it was semi-late at night and this was one of the only places open. I got the puddle jumper, which is 10 wings. You get 2 choices of sauces with it so I got the sweet chili and the citrus chipotle. There's a spinner on the counter if you can't decide which sauce you want (there's 25 choices!) In all honesty, I didn't really taste the citrus in the chipotle but it was still good. I preferred the sweet chili which had a nice kick at the end. They got me my wings 10 minutes after ordering and they were nice, hot and crispy.

Let me tell you about Wings Over AA: best wings I've ever had. I can honestly say I'm in love with this place. The actual restaurant is super unassuming and definitely more of a pick-up/delivery place- which is great, especially because delivery is free! And *usually* pretty timely. The prices here are very reasonable. Back to the wings though- ohhhhhh my. They do dry rub right. The Mesquite dry rub wings even won over my boyfriend, who strictly sticks to sauces (unintentional alliteration). We usually get the Mesquite and the honey bbq wings. We've tried other flavors too, which were delicious, but we keep coming back to those two. I prefer bone-in wings and my boyfriend prefers boneless. However, the bone-in wings are so good here that we've never actually tried boneless (don't get me started). The waffle fries are decent here, too. I'm leaving Ann Arbor soon and am actually worried. The only other wing place near me is Bdubs, and after being spoiled with Wings Over, I don't think I can ever go back. Edit: we tried the boneless in our trusty mesquite and honey bbq flavors. More expensive, and nowhere near as good as bone-in. Do yourself a favor, and stick with those.

Unlike most wing places (Buffalo Wild Wings, Spots on central campus), Wings Over focuses on boneless wings that are more similar to chicken strips. Because of this, their prices tend to be higher than other places. I got the Hangar 1 combo (1 pound of boneless wings with 2 sauces, waffle cut fries, and a can of soda) for $16. The batter and sauces are definitely unique as well - compared to Buffalo Wild Wings, I'd say the breading is crunchier and the sauces are less thick. Unfortunately for me, my batch must've been made at a time when the oil in the deep fryer was getting old or was too hot because my food was overcooked (dry/crispier than desired). I gotta give credit for them for their large assortment of sauces/dry rubs as well as their specialty in delivery and catering. However, I would personally recommend going to Buffalo Wild Wings or Spots for better bangs for your buck as well as a sit down atmosphere.

Great little wings spot. They have 25 different flavor sauces. My favorite is the golden BBQ and The Jamaican Jerk

This review is a mix of my review of the food and the delivery service. Ordered wings and fries for Super Bowl Sunday. The flavors seemed alright enough, but the food was so cold by the time it got to my door that it was not an enjoyable meal, and I live less than a mile away. On top of that, the driver couldn't find my apartment, and when he got here his phone was dead and he didn't have a phone charger, so I had to pay via cash because he couldn't get my e-signature. 3(?) stars for the food. 1 star for the delivery. I'll give the food another shot, but doubtful will get delivery.

This place inspired me to get a YELP because I want to tell the city of Ann Arbor about their amazing the wings and ribs. The Ribs were UNBELIEVABLY delicious! We got the traditional BBQ ribs and they were so delicious and well cooked! The wings, particularly the honey BBQ, were incredible. They arrived in 25 minutes, which is record time especially in such bad weather! The fact that they are open until 1am (3am on weekends) means we'll be ordering from them a whole lot!!

We tend to eat out real late and this often becomes a problem since a ton of places close their kitchen at midnight. Last night was one of those instances where we did not get out to AA until 11:30 so we ordered a couple beers and apps at Jolly Pumpkin then headed over here to get carry-out and drive it home. My SO has been talking about the Lansing location for the last five years. Jet fuel has been mentioned, and I think he may have even sabotaged our leaving time last night so we could stop here after I texted him earlier telling him it was opened in AA. Did it live up to the hype? YES. We drove it about 40 minutes away and it was still warm and actually great. Another review mentions they did not separate his wings so the sauces combine, but that was not the case with ours and we ordered 25 traditional wings with three sauces and two dry-rubs. They came in the same container, but were all separated and none of the sauces or rubs touched one another. These wings are much better then Bdubs wings within quality, there was plenty of meat on the bones. You know if I can eat 18 wings from bdubs no issue then they must be lacking a bit of meat, but these were not. We could not even finish close to the 25. However, it's a ton of kids working here and when they opened the back door there were kids just sitting on the floor with their phones in their hand. Yeah, yeah, it's AA and it was around 12:30AM, but eh. I am pretty sure the girls who took our order were high as kites too, but again it comes with the territory. Either way, they were helpful and recommended hot garlic, which was by far my favorite! The dry rubs were good, but not as flavor demanding as the sauces so next time we will stick to being the sauce boss.

I have waited a long time for Wings Over to open a franchise here in Ann Arbor. Having gone many times to the Wings Over in East Lansing I knew what to expect once one opened here. Our first order didn't just meet expectations though, it exceeded them. This Wings Over was very fast in completing our order and considering we had gotten 4 pounds of boneless wings this is a very impressive feat! We had no problem using the online ordering system for a carryout order. By the time we got there (20 minutes after sending the order) it was ready for us to bring home. They had only been open for an hour and were already having a steady stream of customers. This speed is very welcomed. Keep it up! My favorite flavor is Honey Mustard... with Cajun BBQ coming up as a very close second. My fiance's favorite is their hottest flavor, Afterburner. The sauces Wings Over uses are definitely not run of the mill. The BBQ sauces are not as sickening sweet as they sometimes can be at other place...these wings are more savory. The hot sauces (especially Hot Garlic and Afterburner) are bursting with flavors other than "hot". Garlic and other spices can be tasted in those. The boneless wings themselves have amazing texture, with the outside being crispy and the inside being tender. That plus the great sauces makes this an unbeatable wing. They are also great the next day so don't worry about leftovers. For my money this is the best place to get boneless wings in Ann Arbor. The focus is on carryout/delivery, so take them home... share them with your family and friends. Watch a sports game on TV and enjoy some of the best wings you'll ever have. Personal note: They should expand delivery zones, so that people living on the west side of town can enjoy getting Wings Over delivered. :)

Tried Wings Over on Super Bowl Sunday..... I placed the order over online at 11am for pickup at 4:30pm.... I ordered B-17 wings (about 60 wings) and Stratocruiser - Boneless Strips (over 2 lbs).... with different sauces and 4 large orders of waffle fries. They started my order at 4pm, so with the snow, left the house at 4pm and got there at 4:30pm.... went in and checked-in, paid and was told it'd be another 10 more minutes.... so I waited.... at 4:45pm, I walked out with my orders. Wings - it was okay.... not as good as bws though.... the wings were decent Boneless - I think KFC boneless strips are better. The tenders were little tough, but when eating with beer, who cares :) Overall, I'd return. The one thing I did not appreciate and the only reason it knocked down a star was how they packed up the wings. Looking at the pictures on Yelp, looks like they used deli paper to separate different flavor wings, but on our orders they just threw the chicken wings in the container without care.... having my honey mustard and oriental sesame sauces and wings in marriage wasn't fun..... The place has few seats, but not to eat.... just for you to seat there and to wait fryer orders. I would highly recommend you order online and pick it up... one cool thing about their online order, you can track their order online.

We used to frequent at Nagomi, which is right next door to Wings Over Ann Arbor on Plymouth, and my husband has always wanted to try their wings, so we finally did one day, and we were impressed! We've had their wings a few times since, and we always get 25 wings with a side of something. So far, the sauces we've tried are: Red Alert, Jet Fuel, Honey BBQ, Honey Mustard, Jamaican Jerk, and Sweet Chili, and the dry rub we've tried are: Cajun Blackened, Garlic Parmesan, Texas Mesquite, and 7 pepper. My favourite is the Honey BBQ, since I can't tolerate any spiciness... I used to like Sweet Chili, but the last time I had it, it was more "chili" than "sweet", and the chili was a bit too much for me. I did like most of the dry rub, though some of them were borderline "too spicy" for me. I didn't like Honey Mustard... My husband, on the other hand, likes his food hot, and he found the Red Alert to be not spicy enough, and likes Jet Fuel. He hasn't tried After Burner, though. He also likes most of the dry rub, but his favourite still is the Jet Fuel. We've also had their waffle fries, which were just way too over-fried, dry and "crispy", and we didn't like it. The waffle fries were also way too heavily seasoned and too salty. The regular fries were not as dry, but nothing spectacular as well. Overall, we did like the place, but the last time we had their wings, their wings have considerably "shrunk" in size... I wonder what happened...

I normally would only leave a review once I've tried a few items, but I feel like I got a decent taste of what they offered. I have a lot of good points, and two only minor bad one. I didn't rate this a five star, only because I'm a stickler for that rating. It's got to be above and beyond, out of this world and have the best service for me to rate that. This being said, one of the good points for me is that they deliver to my area where I work, and where it is hard to get a variety of food. I used to have pizza places only, but now I found a mexican place, and even further now I have a wing/burger place. Life is good. They offer delivery until 12:30am most days, with it being later on the weekends (obviously). I placed an order for a 1/2 lb boneless wings with honey bbq sauce, a cheeseburger wrap with a side of garlic Parmesan waffle fries. The rating goes as follows; The boneless wings; I loved the fact that they were big pieces of chicken with a still crispy crunch to them, despite swimming in bbq sauce (which I didn't mind in the least, as it's delicious). It was hot, and sticky. Needless to say, good for wings. The waffle fries; This is where I mentioned one of those bad notes, as while the fries were delicious, and crispy without a doubt, the 'flavor' was not really there. It was a spice, but with no way to keep them on the fries themselves, you just had a bunch of powder on the bottom of the box. Find a way to keep them stuck on the fries, and they are winners! The cheese burger wrap; I'll be honest, this thing was pretty big and intimidating. It's about the size of a burrito from qdobba (big width). On the first bite you get a really nice char taste from the meat and a good amount of lettuce. My problem with this unfortunately, is that they give you the mayo on the side, so you have to take it apart to add it. I don't know about a lot of people, but I can't wrap a burrito to save my life. So I ended up with quite a mess. I don't count this as a bad note honestly, because the taste was still there. The only issue for this is that they were in the same box as the fries, and were COVERED in the garlic Parmesan dust. Those flavors, unfortunately didn't mesh well with me. Long story short, for the price and the speed of delivery, I would happily order from this place again. For $15 I got a large cheeseburger wrap, a good amount of crispy waffle fries and a delicious pile of wings and sauce. The driver for my order was Lillianna, and she was VERY quick on the delivery, and very cheerful while she helped me figure out how to sign for my receipt lol. I just wish they included some napkins, wet naps or plastic silverware (I know, classic mistake for wings).

Couple of friends and I ordered wings from here for the Super Bowl. We, stupidly, tried to call in right before the Super Bowl started so we couldn't get through the phone line. However, we eventually got through after a couple minutes of trying and the person on the phone was very friendly. They said the wait would be about an hour long but what do you expect on the day of the big game? Anyways, we ordered the B-17 bomber and a side of large fries. The wings we ordered dry with Sweet Chili and Red Alert Buffalo on the side. The delivery came before half-time (Katy Perry, left shark, and wings! What can be better?). The wings themselves were pretty large, although there were a few small stragglers here and there. Overall though, they were cooked very well. Very crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The Sweet Chili sauce was quite good and added a nice sweet/spicy kick to the chicken. The Red Alert Buffalo was not that spicy in my opinion, but very good with a good mix of spice and vinegary taste. The fries tasted like any other fries but they were still cooked well. I love crinkle cut fries so can't really complain about them.

My fiance and I had a good experience trying this place out last week. We split a DC-10 combo (1/2 pound of boneless wings, regular fries, and a drink) and it was more than enough food for the two of us at only $15. We got half Cruising Altitude and half Golden Barbecue. Both were really tasty, though the Cruising Altitude was not as spicy as they indicated. We'll be going back in the near future.

When I first heard that Wings over Ann Arbor was opening, I was pretty excited. I'm a student that lives on North Campus without a car, so I was pumped to hear that a place to get buffalo wings was opening right near me, and I was also excited for a place that was open later than 11pm up here. So I tried it out tonight and for the most part, I was pleased. I ordered the 15 Jumbo Wings, a.k.a. the F-16 with their Wimpy Buffalo Sauce and Blue Cheese dipping sauce, as well as a small order of Waffle Fries with Garlic Parmesan Flavor. The wings tasted great and had a nice crispy skin on them, and the Wimpy sauce had a nice kick to it, while not being overpowering, as well as having a great flavor itself. The amount of Blue Cheese that they gave me with my order was sufficient for the wings I had, and the flavor was decent. However one or two of the wings that came in my order would be hard to consider "Jumbo", as they seemed a bit small, but overall the wings were good. As for the Waffle Fries, I was a bit disappointed in them. The Garlic Parmesan flavor was hardly noticeable and the fries weren't satisfyingly crispy. Plus the fries were cold by the time I got back to my apartment (although I'm willing to chalk that up to walking home with them on a day where my phone is saying the wind chill is -22 degrees) The price for what I got wasn't too bad either. For the price I paid, I felt I got a decent amount of food, especially considering the cost of Buffalo Wings at other places. Overall, despite the lackluster waffle fries, Wings Over Ann Arbor does their specialty well, and while I'm probably wouldn't get the Waffle Fries again, I would certainly order more wings from them again.

I am an alum of UMass Amherst where this company started, and I'm happy to say that the quality of the wings has survived the trip to MI! A great restaurant with awesome wings!

Solid 4 stars hear. I've picked up food every Fri. for the last 5 or 6 weeks. I've gone through almost all their sauces and rubs. I don't really care for boneless wings but I did try them and they were good. I usually get the puddle jumper, is 10 wings up to 2 sauces and side of ranch or blue cheese for $8.50. I really like the the cajun teriyaki and sweet chilli sauces, but honey bbq, golden bbq, are really good. Some of the sauces are super messy while others are just a light glaze. Wings are always well cooked with none of the slime left. The ribs were good comparable to Chillis. Everything has been ready on time in 15 or 20 mins. Today my order when I got home was a little off, I called and the manager handled it with class and finesse. This place might stick around.

Sitting in the lobby... Paid 12 dollars for sub par chicken and even worse service. Doesn't help we waited 25 minutes. I'll be surprised if this location survives another year. A suggestion... Train your employees to wear gloves and not act out in front of customers.

This is a solid 4 stars wings place. The wait is never too long, the wings are good- not revolutionary but definitely up to par, and the service is friendly. I recommend the honey barbecue or honey mustard wings- really good. The price can be a little steep depending on what you order, but I have no complaints because I can now get solid chicken wings any time I want just down the street. 100% worth checking this place out.

Typical wing prices. Tastes really good. Also, red alert wings aren't as spicy as they say they are.

Got some wings that were well-sauced and indeed jumbo. Spicy Jet Fuel wings were actually spicy. Crispy on the outside, moist on the inside. Waffle fries were mediocre and I received no ketchup with my large order. While front cashier was helpful with the menu, she appeared unfriendly and upset. I'll chock that up to personal issues and I will be ordering wings from here again!

If you like wings, this place is gold. Free delivery and the wings are delicious. I had them delivered once at a specified time and they were EXACTLY on time, and also once had them delivered asap and it got here 15 minutes earlier than the time they gave me, which was great. Pro tip: first time you order online, you get 10% off if you register your email address.

So disappointed! Went there today with coworkers for lunch. Guy sitting in there on phone and door was locked. Didn't even have common courtesy to come and say they weren't open due to problem or anything. According to info they were supposed to be open. Waste of time and gas. More customers came as we were leaving as well. Disappointed! !!

Great meaty wings! They don't skimpout on the sauce! Im a huge fan of ashleys wings, but this place is just great. Its going to really take off when tailgating season hits.
